David Sellers

David Sellers has over 30 years of experience advising on international commercial arbitration and investment treaty matters. He has acted as counsel or arbitrator in over 75 commercial and investment treaty arbitrations, as well as in a range of related proceedings. He is the former UK member of the ICC Court of Arbitration. He has a wide experience in public international law matters, including work as counsel on several cases before the International Court of Justice.

David Sellers also specialises in both contentious and non-contentious upstream and downstream oil and gas work and energy projects and has extensive experience in infrastructure projects, including public private partnerships and concessions.

David's clients include States, major oil companies and multinationals. He has particular experience in the Middle East and North and Sub-Saharan Africa.
