HOUSTON – AZA was included among the 30 largest law firms and the top 10 intellectual property law firms in the Houston Business Journal’s Book of Lists 2019-2020.
The newspaper’s annual list names the largest companies in Houston in a variety of sectors, including the legal industry. AZA was ranked the eighth largest IP law firm and the 30th largest law firm overall in Houston.
“AZA has a presence in Houston, Texas, and nationally in both complex trial work and intellectual property work. The firm has been recognized nationally and locally for our prowess in both areas,” said firm founding partner John Zavitsanos.
In 2019, AZA was again named by Texas Lawyer magazine as the best boutique-sized litigation department in Texas. The firm won Litigation Department of the Year in 2015 and earned a specialty practice award from the magazine in 2017.
