Previously, Catrina Luchsinger-Gaehwiler has held the role of Vice-Chair of the IPBA’s Banking, Finance and Securities Committee. The IPBA is an international association of business and commercial lawyers who live in, or otherwise have a strong interest in, the Asia-Pacific Region. Its Banking, Finance and Securities Committee aims to generally promote the interests of those members of the IPBA with a particular interest in banking, finance and securities law. As Co-Chairs, Yuri Suzuki (Atsumi & Sakai, Tokyo) and Catrina Luchsinger Gaehwiler will lead the ongoing efforts of the committee, with a strong focus on driving high quality, interactive conferences to give first hand industry and regulatory perspectives on current issues across the Asia-Pacific market as well as developments in Europe and the US.
