Caspian Legal Center (CLC) is a Baku-based full-service Azerbaijani law and tax consultancy firm advising domestic and international clients on corporate, commercial, regulatory, and tax matters. The firm provides comprehensive legal support to businesses in connection with the establishment and operation of companies in Azerbaijan, including full-scale taxation, payroll, and accounting services.
CLC was established by experienced lawyers and tax consultants with extensive practical expertise in Azerbaijani business law and taxation. In addition to domestic legal training in Azerbaijan, the firm’s team members have received Western legal education, including degrees from Central European University, Queen Mary University of London, the University of Cambridge, the University of Oxford, and Lund University. The firm advises on international aspects of business operations and cross-border transactions and operates in English, German, Russian, Azerbaijani, and Turkish. Caspian Legal Center’s legal team consists of two Partners, one Legal Manager, one Senior Legal Associate, one Associate, two Junior Associates, and three Legal Interns. Three members of the legal team are admitted to the Bar Association of Azerbaijan. The firm’s tax team comprises one Tax Manager, two Senior Tax Accountants, one Tax Accountant, and one Junior Tax Accountant.

The firm has significant experience in contract negotiation, drafting, and review, including multi-million-dollar commercial agreements and FIDIC-based construction contracts, as well as in dispute resolution and debt recovery matters. CLC closely monitors legal reforms and business incentive regimes and advises clients on tax and customs exemptions, free zones, and other state support mechanisms.
CLC operates as a one-stop-shop professional services provider and advises on corporate law and business set-ups, immigration, employment law, intellectual property, oil and gas, contract drafting and negotiation, tax and accounting, dispute resolution and litigation (including debt recovery), as well as legal, tax and accounting matters relating to real estate, public procurement, finance and banking, construction, transportation and maritime law, and renewable and alternative energy projects.
