Partner. Mr. Payá specializes in domestic and cross-border transactions, particularly M&A, private equity, joint ventures and strategic alliances, corporate group restructuring and financing and real estate transactions. He has advised on some of the most important transactions in different industrial and services sectors, as well as in regulated sectors such as finance and insurance, infrastructures, energy, pharmaceutics and biotechnology.
Career
A doctor of laws and an associate lecturer of corporate law ESADE (Universitat Ramon Llull), Mr. Payá also lectures on the Master in Legal Practice at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra, and regularly speaks at courses and conferences.

He is admitted to the practice of law as an attorney in New York. He is also a member of the Barcelona Bar Association and the New York Bar Association, as well as of the New York State Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the International Bar Association (current Chair of the Closely Held and Growing Business Enterprises Committee).
