Helen is a specialist family practitioner who maintains a deliberate balance in her practice between financial remedies proceedings and private law children disputes. She is regularly instructed as junior to a leading silk as well as in her own right.
Helen lectures in this and other jurisdictions, namely Jersey and the Channel Islands, and is a contributing editor to Atkins Family Law forms.
In cases concerning the welfare of children, Helen’s practice often involves serious allegations of violence, sexual offences, applications for both international and internal relocation, parental alienation and intractable contact disputes.
Helen acts in financial remedies proceedings for both married and unmarried parties and her practice includes cases with high profile individuals, complicated factual issues and high value assets within complicated trust or corporate structures.
