Practice Areas
Laura is a specialist regulatory advocate with a broad and busy practice encompassing consumer law, health & safety, fire safety and environmental law, amongst other areas. She is an experienced trial advocate, mindful of the need to provide timely, practical and commercially sensitive advice.
She advises and acts for regulators and traders across the spectrum of consumer and food law, in relation to all aspects of enforcement, including criminal investigations, prosecutions and confiscation and appeals, as well as inquiries, inquests and civil claims. She has particular expertise prosecuting and defending regulatory offences, including those involving fatalities or serious injury. Her clients include national retailers, supermarkets, restaurant chains and slaughterhouses.
She is on the list of Specialist Regulatory Advocates in Health & Safety and Environmental Law (List B).

Laura joined Gough Square Chambers in November 2021 from 6 Pump Court Chambers.
