Career
Renata Campetti Amaral joined Trench Rossi Watanabe in 2002 and became a partner in 2013. As a Senior Partner, she is the head of the Environment, Climate Change and Sustainability practice group and of the Consumer Law practice at the firm as well.
She leads several of the largest environmental and regularization cases in the country and has extensive experience in sustainability and climate change matters, including managing environmental crises, negotiating with authorities and handling reverse logistics issues.
In matters related to Consumer Law, she conducts analysis on aspects of Consumer Law in contracts and commercial transactions, judicial and administrative litigations and works on the development of preventive policies and strategies for companies.
Renata is also a professor of post-graduate courses in environmental law.
Personal
Renata is graduated from PUC/RS with a degree in law, specialist in International Law from Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) and has an LL.M. degree from the University of Texas School of Law, Austin, United States. Recently, she concluded a course on Sustainability at the Berkley University.
