Alice Hughes

Alice studied English at the University of Cambridge, with a particular focus on 20th century American literature. Pre-pandemic, Alice had a carefully laid plans to study for an MA in York, but this was thwarted by Covid, so she said farewell to designs on a thesis about William Carlos Williams. Instead, she became a freelance proofreader and then ended up at Chambers.
