Career
After she graduated with honours and right of publication at the University of Genoa, she worked in Genoa, Hamburg and New York. Founding Partner of her law firm based in Rome since 1999 and Of Counsel at R&P Legal from 2014 to 2018. She is a lawyer with a broad experience in maritime and transportation law and in international trade. She has been a contract Professor at the University of Rome La Sapienza, the speaker at several conferences on issues concerning maritime and transportation law and the author of various articles published on both Italian and foreign journals. She has been Counsellor and then Vice President of WISTA Italia (Women’s International Shipping and Trading Association), member of the board of editors of the journal “Le Assicurazioni Trasporti”, member of the ICC Italian working Group for the revision of Incoterms 2000 and Incoterms 2010.

Member of the Rome Bar Association. Admitted to practice before the Supreme Court. Member of the Italian Maritime Law Association.

Married with two sons. She played competitive tennis.
