Practice Areas

Eric leads the Freshfields international arbitration practice in Vienna. He has a particular focus on commercial and post-M&A disputes and has represented clients in high-stakes proceedings under various procedural rules, most often in the aviation, energy, finance, real estate and technology sectors. Eric further represents both governments and commercial entities in arbitration proceedings under investment treaties, as well as in mediation proceedings under the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises. Eric is also experienced in US civil litigation and cross-border compliance investigations, particularly in central and eastern Europe.

Eric joined Freshfields in 2015; partner since 2022.
