Jutami Augustyn is a partner in Bowmans’ Johannesburg office Private Equity Practice. She advises on fund formation, mergers and acquisitions and management arrangements. She acts for both South African funds and private equity houses and Mauritian and other offshore structures. Her clients range from funds, general partners and fund managers to new investors/ partners and management members. Jutami’s experience extends to the establishment of black empowerment private equity funds, as well as the various elements of domestic and cross-border transactions, corporate and commercial matters, broad-based black economic empowerment, due diligence investigations and corporate governance issues. Jutami has BAcc and LLB degrees from Stellenbosch University.
