Career

Marine Shahparonyan is a Partner at MB Legal with more than ten years of legal and consulting experience. Her practice focuses on banking and finance, corporate and M&A, and general business law, with a particular emphasis on advising financial institutions, multinational corporations and investors on complex transactions and regulatory matters in Armenia.

Marine advises clients on the structuring and execution of corporate and M&A transactions, including share and asset acquisitions, joint ventures and corporate reorganisations. She also assists banks, financial institutions and corporate clients with financing arrangements, regulatory compliance, contract structuring and day-to-day business law matters. Her work spans a broad range of industries, with notable experience in the financial services and professional services sectors.

Prior to joining MB Legal in 2022, Marine spent ten years as a Senior Manager in the Legal Department at Grant Thornton Armenia, where she developed deep expertise in corporate, banking and transactional law across a wide range of client mandates. She is a licensed advocate admitted by the Chamber of Advocates of the Republic of Armenia since 2015. In addition to her practice, she delivers lectures in International Commercial Contracts Law at the French University in Armenia. Marine holds a Bachelor's degree in Law and a Master's degree in International Business Law from the French University in Armenia, and works in Armenian, English, Russian and French.
