Career
Tomás is a partner in the Corporate M&A practice. With around 15 years’ experience, he has worked mainly on mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, venture capital regulatory issues, corporate disputes and privatisations.
His clients come from various industries and sectors, including real estate, shopping centres, tourism, agro-industries, shipbuilding and sports companies.
Before joining PLMJ, Tomás was a lawyer at the Lisbon office of Uría Menéndez – Proença de Carvalho. He was also an adviser to the Minister of State and of Regional Development of the 19th Constitutional Government of Portugal.
Tomás has a law degree from the Faculty of Law of Universidade Nova and completed a postgraduate course in corporate law at Universidade Católica Portuguesa.
