With extensive experience in projects, arbitration, and alternative dispute resolution, Leonardo excels both as a lawyer and as an arbitrator. His expertise is particularly notable in project development, where he is widely regarded as a top-tier lawyer in designing and negotiating complex engineering and construction contracts, including EPC, DBB, EPC-M, Project Alliancing, among others. Leonardo is frequently engaged in disputes surrounding major construction projects, showcasing his adeptness in navigating complex legal challenges.

Furthermore, Leonardo holds a master’s and PhD in Commercial Law from University of São Paulo and serving as a professor of Construction Law in the master’s program at FGV Direito-SP. He has authored numerous books and articles on Construction Law and Corporate Law, and frequently delivers lectures at national and international institutions. He was a Visiting Scholar at King's College London and served as the president of the Brazilian Institute of Construction Law- IBDIC.
