Career

Maite joined Galicia in 2016. Her practice focuses on the telecommunications, technology, real state, regulated markets, financial and pharmaceutical sectors. Her experience includes complex merger control procedures, investigations of anticompetitive practices and advice on regulatory compliance to several Mexican and international companies.

She graduated from Universidad Iberoamericana (2012) and holds a master´s degree in Economic Law from Universidad Panamericana (2017).

Maite is recognized as a recommended associate in The Legal 500 2023 Latin American Guide in the Competition practice. In its 2021 edition, its clients and peers noted: “Maite Celorio is experienced, direct, clear and precise.”
