Practice Areas

Paul Stuart’s practice focuses on competition law and litigation, including competition litigation before the UK courts, European Commission and UK antitrust and merger proceedings, and appellate litigation before the EU courts.

He has advised clients on a wide range of disputes and investigations, and represented clients in proceedings before the EU Court of Justice and General Court, the European Commission, the Court of Appeal, the High Court, and the Competition Appeal Tribunal. Paul’s UK competition litigation practice spans all areas of standalone and follow-on litigation, including individual and collective proceedings.

Career

Paul joined Cleary Gottlieb in 2010 as an associate, was resident in the Brussels office from 2010 to 2012, and became a counsel in 2020.

Paul is widely published in the areas of Competition and Competition Litigation and is a regular speaker at international conferences.
