Vivienne Sedgley

Practice Areas

Vivienne has a wide-ranging public law practice, encompassing administrative, election, local government, planning and regulatory law.

She is a published author in her practice areas, writing for 'Supperstone, Goudie and Walker: Judicial Review' (LexisNexis) and 'Parker’s Law and Conduct of Elections' (Lexis Nexis) as Assistant Editor, both since 2017.

She has recently acted in matters concerning camping on Dartmoor (soon to be heard by the Supreme Court), the London Mayoral election, misconduct by councillors, the London Plan and the postponement of referendums during the Covid-19 pandemic. She sits on the Planning and Environment Law Bar Association (PEBA) Committee.
